1. As a subscriber, can I send an article via Interlibrary Loan?


Emerald allows subscribers to provide a copy of an article/chapter to a library that doesn't have access to the work in question via Interlibrary Loan. The content should be sent via a secure electronic transmission system, such as Ariel.

2. Can I copy materials from this website or re-publish any content?

 5. Does Emerald support text & data mining?

 

Emerald believes that a right to read is a right to mine, and supports researchers’ rights to be able to text and data mine (TDM) content that they have legal access to. 


Authorised users at subscribing institutions have our permission to mine journal content they have legal access to for non-commercial purposes, subject to the terms of our subscription agreements. The outputs of any TDM activities should bear the appropriate attribution of the original Emerald content, where possible. To allow Emerald to manage server capacity, we would ask that you notify us before conducting any TDM activities on Emerald Insight This will allow us to enable you to complete your activity without technical obstacles and to maintain access for all Emerald users.

6. How do we acquire translation rights for an Emerald book?


Our Rights department is focused on expanding the reach of our books beyond the English language publication to reach the largest possible audience.  If you are a publisher interested in acquiring translation rights to any of our books, please contact booktranslations@emerald.com, for more information.

Emerald and its Editors are fully committed to ethical publication practice and follow the Emerald Publication Ethics guidelinesIn addition, all Emerald journals are members of the Committee on Publication Ethics.
