Our platform includes security elements which do not allow HTTP requests with 'X-Frame-Options' set to 'sameorigin' in the HTTP header. The impact of this is that if frames are used for embedding the full-text, the rules for the 'X-Frame-Options' values are stricter and the below message will appear on the screen:

The quickest way to resolve this issue is to change the catalogue setting so that clicking on the article URL brings the article up in a new browse window rather than a frame, and this would mean that the students are authenticated at source without losing access to the catalogue itself, as this would be available in the original browse window. 


Alternatively you may wish to see if the rules for “x-frame-options” can be amended to be compatible with our current security levels.
