Your guide to searching on Emerald Insight

Emerald Insight is designed to allow you to start searching straight away by simply entering your search term here:


Search results are returned by relevance and show the article/chapter/case title and other features. The search is weighted around the number of times a 'searched-for' word appears in the title, the abstract and the main body, and does not currently distinguish this against ‘keyword’ metadata itself.

 

If it is a term being searched for, the term found in the title is weighted more than when it is found in the body text, but if it is found more often in the body text it will likely be higher in the search results.
