Affiliated Member Access - coming soon

The new Insight (July 2025) allows profile users to create an affiliation with their authenticating institution, which will then allow them to access Insight remotely, as an authentication member of that institution.

How does Affiliated Member Access work?

Automated affiliations

If a user logs in to existing profile, or registers a new profile whilst IP authenticated by their institution/organization, their profile is auto-affiliated with the institution/organization for a period of 90 days.

Manual affiliations

Account Administrators will also be able to create manual affiliations for their members. If a member registers a profile whilst they are off-site, the admin can locate the profile from within their institutional Admin area, and create the affiliation there.

They can also set the end date to whatever date is preferred.

All Account Administrators have access to the list of affiliated members within this dashboard and can delete/extend access as preferred.
