Our Real Impact’ blog, designed to help bridge the gap between academic research and its application in the real world, covers all elements of the real impact debate.

We’re looking for examples of research that has made an impact in the real world, insight into the challenges academics and policymakers face and, ultimately, insight into what ‘real world impact’ should really stand for. We want to hear your views.

We welcome contributions from academics, policymakers and professionals interested in the impact that social sciences research can have on policy and practice. You do not need to have written for Emerald before, nor to cite or focus on research published by Emerald.

We invite guests to write for our Real World Impact blog and guidelines can be found here.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Real World Impact team.
